The first thing one notices when visiting Tabor Academy is the picturesque setting on the southeast coast of Massachusetts. The campus, located in the small town of Marion, Massachusetts, about a one-hour drive from Boston, almost looks like a small, beachside resort and is known as the School by the Sea. The beach is within view from most of the campus, with the freshmen dorm situated right on the beach. The school makes full use of its unique location by offering a strong Marine Science program and research center, as well as boating and sailing classes.
International Students
Tabor has an exceptional program for all international students, who make up 19% of the total student body. The Center for International Students provides extensive support through community activities and support for international students designed to help students to improve English skills and assimilate better with the American students. The Center is centrally located in the Academic Building to make integration into the school community easier. It provides services including help with visas, setting students up with host families, scheduling vacation transportation and helping with the adjustment to a new culture and language.
Students who are interested in a strong and supportive learning environment on the East Coast in an idyllic setting should check out Tabor Academy.
